sickness, Walmart, and a gross thing.

TODAY

good: I'm alive.

bad: I woke up at 6:50am. that. is. so. early.

bad: my sinuses feel like death. I'm getting sick :(

good: got ready in record time :]

good: it was just cold enough at work :]

good: went home and took a 2 hour nap before math.

bad: went to math.

good: Alexis actually had her phone with her.
for the second time in her whole existence.

bad: math.

bad: ate lunch. I hate the dining hall.

good: had a 2 1/2 hour break, which I filled with Pinterest, journal writing, and some light homework.

bad: went to english.

bad: forgot to do the journal question. oops :]

good: went home.

good: went to Walmart with Tommy. (you're a lifesaver.)

good: I'm not going to starve this weekend because the dining hall is closed for 4 days straight. (NOT THAT I EVER WANT TO EAT THERE AGAIN... keep reading)

good: Tommy pushed the cart. it was defected. lolz.

good: got straws.
I need them because I hate drinking drinks with ice without a straw.
I have really sensitive teeth, okay?

bad: forgot to get Apple Jacks. dang it.

good: my room smells like apple spice now :]

bad: lightbulb burned out again.

bad: went to dinner. there was nothing to eat, so I settled on a measly bowl of peaches and cottage cheese (it's delicious).

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, excuse me???

that is an insect.
swimming around in my peaches.

I am so disgruntled.
and guess what they gave me as a peace offering?

A FREE MEAL.

are you kidding me? you're kidding me right now.

wouldn't that make you never want to eat there again?
yeah, me too.
only here's the thing: I have no choice.
awesome.

Thunderbird Circle Dining Hall
hairs: 2
insects: 1

so I had a bowl of fruit loops, even though I'm lactose intolerant. there were just no other choices.

good: it's fall break. well, almost.
one more day of doing important things.

bad: time goes really slow when you want it to go really fast.

hmmmm... let me end on a good note.

good: I'm still alive.

THE END.

peeved.

folks, buckle up.

what are my pet peeves, you ask?
well, I'll tell you...

1) bad drivers.

I have road rage. bad.
I'm a ridiculously good driver. I follow all of the rules, I actually go the speed limit, and I don't get distracted. except for that one time when I rear-ended someone :]
there are so many things that bug me.

A)when someone is driving SLOWER than the speed limit.
"UM, HELLO. did you not see the 3 signs you just passed?!?!?!"

B)when I'm going the speed limit, and the person behind me feels the need to attach themselves to the back of my car.
"BACK OFF." I always go slower and look angrily into my rearview mirror when this happens.

C)when I'm at a 4-way stop and I'm waiting for the person to my right to GO already, and they sit for 5 minutes and then motion for me to go ahead and go. "um, you have the right of way, take advantage of it. idiot."

I use my horn way too much.

2) when people walk slow in front of me.
or just stop. or walk backwards. or don't watch where they're going.

3) when people lean back in their desk and stretch their bodies all over mine. it's gross.

4) when boys are perverts. it's not funny or cute.

5) swear words. what's the point?

6) I have a very low tolerance for stupid people... unintelligent people. like, "excuse me, how did you make it all the way to college?!?!" I don't get it.

7) when people don't care about school. I heard these exact words the other day: "oh my BEEP. I have to write a 4 page essay. LIIIIKE, what is even the point of writing a BEEPing long paper? *HUGE DRAMATIC SIGH*"
to which I wanted to responde: "ummmmmmmmmmm, you're in school. what the heck did you expect?!"

I have more pet peeves. this is not even all of them.

oh. today this happened to me:
in psychology, we all had our mental disorder poster boards set up and we had to go around the room and read the other boards and write what type of disorder each one it.

are you following me?

so my group was sitting by our poster talking about it, and ALL BUT LIKE 3 people came up, took one look at the title of our disorder (OCD), looked at us, and said "so like, wait, what type of disorder is it?"

oh my heavens.

people. if you had just READ the poster...
it was written in right underneath.

some people........................

on the bright side,

I am skyping with my 2 favorite gurlzzzz :] :] :]

yay.

okay, bye.

I never know what to name these things.

hello people.

does the format of this post make you uncomfortable?
your answer is yes, am I right?

first of all, shout out to Alexis. she was upset with me for not posting yesterday. THIS ONE IS FOR YOU! :} (smile that I do. only a select few know that I am kidding.)

here are my topics:
1. things I am obsessed with
2. today

I feel like I should make this post really long and witty for the lack of entertaining posts the last coupla days. we will see how that goes.

well then.

numero uno
I am obsessed with Netflix. I will admit that I watch way too much television. but I love. I will not disclose how many hours I spent watching The Office season 7 the past two days. not to mention Secret Life, Lie To Me, and Life Unexpected. tonight, Netflix wasn't loading. I found myself in a jam. I thought, "what the HECK am I supposed to do now?" I thought maybe it was a sign, so I'm blogging instead.
Ben & Jerry's. Cake Batter to be exact. this stuff is amazing. every time I go to Walmart, I get two pint size containers. they don't last me very long. I'm saving the empty ones as trophies. I need help, probably.
sticky notes. I use them ALL the time. on my to-do lists, I even put []watch tv & []talk on the phone.

numero dos
today is Saturday. I got a visit from my dear mother, baby sister, and grandfather :]
we went to breakfast. at iHop. and then we went to Walmart.
Walmart is a big deal. it's the only place I ever go off campus, and it's a rare occasion on account of: I don't have a car. I have to bum a ride. one time, me and Chelsea needed to go NOW, so I put up a sign in the lobby of our dorms and IT WORKED.

my handwriting tends to go slantways when there are no lines.

I got groceries. I also got this little treasure:
we are having a little contest here at SUU to see who can decorate their door the best. I think we are way up there.

I mean come on, how could we not win? the eyes light up and it makes "spooky halloween sounds". my plan for next weekend is this:  watch through the peephole (I had to cut a little hole in the witches hat to see out of it. for safety precautions) for passerby's and when they are right in front of my door, turn on the witch cackle and scare them senseless. I can't wait.

that is all for tonight. I hope it was pleasing.

bye.

lazy day.

a few things that I have learned today:

1. don't wear Toms in the rain.

2. 6 hours of sleep is not enough.

3. math sucks. wait, I already knew that.

4. The Office ALWAYS cheers me right up.
this has been me for the past x hours.

5. I need more ice cream.

6. 75 days.

7. really long paper chains are depressing.

<3

blogging on the go.

right now I am I'm mathematics.
it is not fun, so to pass the time, Alexis suggested that I write a quick post.
I just downloaded this blogger app.
it was a good purchase, I think.
it was free.

last night..............
I went to sleep at 10:30pm (which is late for me), only to be woken up 1/2 hour later by SNOWBALLS hitting my window.
after jumping outta bed and trying to catch the culprits, me and Chelsea decided it was hopeless. but then we were all wound up!
we couldn't sleep, so we watched
When A Stranger Calls
heh. it was a great time. I didn't even get scared.
then we finally went to sleep.

Alexis has amazing handwriting.
I should pay attention to the lecture now, so I can be successful in life.

in 10 minutes, I'm done with classes for the day.

holler back.

the 7th season of The Office is on Netflix now.

guess what I'll be doing this weekend? :]

bye.

p.s. it snowed.

some things.

today, a funny thing happened to me:
as I was walking out of class today, my mentor said to me,
"thanks, you're a doll!!"
and because I take everything literally, I said in a really quiet, serious voice,
"I'm a human..."
she didn't think it was very humorous.
I was chuckling to myself the whole way out.
she just gave me the weirdest look.

heh heh.

today was really cold. too cold.
it's supposed to snow tomorrow.
wonderful.

this is how I spent my wednesday night.

I love Netflix.

holler back.

short post.

p.s. another hair in my pasta. yummmmm.

mathematics. and kittens.

today was not my day.

this is how it went:

bad: I woke up far too early for a college student.
good: I went to work, and it was nice (notice my optimistic attitude), because the weather was my favorite kind:
cloudy and chilly. the best.
good: I took a nap before math.
bad: I went to math.
bad: I did math problems.
bad: I didn't understand the math problems.
bad, but sometimes humorous: my professor is incredibly difficult to understand on account of: she has a strong accent.

HOLD UP. let's get one thing straight. I love my prof. she is the best teacher I've ever had. she is teensy and oriental (I do not know her actual race), and she speaks with the thickest accent.
i.e. "porn" = point :) "Alyssa" = Alexis :)
plus, she has the best sense of humor.
she is a great woman.

good: math class ended.
good: the weather during work wasn't sweltering hot.
good: went home and had Ramen for lunch.
good: watched this video:

LAUGH OUT LOUD, she is my idol. I love her. if you don't know her already, go watch all of her videos. she is hilarious.

bad: english class. incredibly boring.
good: done for the day.
bad: I had to wash my dishes.........

I absolutely LOATHE washing dishes. wet food makes me dry heave. and the smell of old food makes me want to drop dead. it took me 20 minutes to wash 5 dishes because I had to pause every 30 seconds and pace the bathroom to get some fresh air. it was horrible.

bad: did math homework. heck on earth right there.

bad: kept getting problems wrong.
bad: the wind was so loud. not fun to listen to for a whole bloody hour.
bad: threw a temper tantrum because math sucks.

that's my eraser and pencil over there. I threw them across the room in a fit of rage and then collapsed. I have to use a brick eraser, otherwise the pencil one will be shaved down to a nub because I mess up so often.

good: took a break to cool my jets and went to dinner.
bad: there was a short black hair in my marinara sauce. undoubtedly from a mustache.
bad: lost my appetite.
good: went to Acoustic Instruments Club and played my guitar for the first time in a long time. it was nice.
bad: now my fingers hurt because they are not used to the wear and tear.
bad: came home and tried to finish my math homework, which resulted in me doing the only other problem I possibly could (and probs getting it wrong) and then writing "I give up :(" on the bottom of the last page. I hope my professor feels sorry for me and gives me some pitty points.

that's the end of my day.

now me and Chelsea (my dear roommate) are contemplating what the necessary steps would be to smuggle a kitten into our room and raise it... it's fun to dream.

if we did, it would look a little something like this :) :)

bye.

p.s. my posts are abnormally long, aren't they?

p.p.s. "hey, are you still readin' this?!?!" -- props to whoever can guess who said that quote.
