things I am excited about.

I am excited for my new job.

I work at Bath & Body Works now.

it may turn into a situation where I basically get paid in lotion and candles.

because I really love good smells.

I am excited to go to North Carolina in 3 weeks for a family reunion.

I need more swimming suits because we are staying in a beach house in Outer Banks.

(picture every Nicholas Sparks movie ever made... that's where I'm going.)

I am excited for school to start because I'm taking fun classes.

astronomy, meteorology, interior design, social work, rock climbing. bam.

(I am not, however, excited about how flipping much tuition and books cost.)

I am excited for a special little piece of jewelry to wear... hopefully soon..

I am excited to go hang out with my love tonight :)

oh, hi!

oh... my blog? what? basically, I dropped off the face of the earth. oops.

I spend plenty of time on the computer, so it's not like I forgot to blog...

it's just that every time I thought about writing a blog, I was like, "...........nah".

and that's that.

I haven't even looked at my blog. I forgot what it even looks like.

I also haven't written in my journal in the same amount of time... I hate myself for that.

so.

since it's been like 8 years since my last post, 

let's fill you (and by 'you' I mean my mom and sisters and nearest, dearest friends) in.

I may or may not have quit 2 jobs in the past 3 months. let's just say that call centers are definitely NOT my favorite work environment.

I love my calling in the nursery. it's seriously the best, and I love it.

I'm not very good at remembering to water my plants. the cactus that I was waiting so patiently for is now dead :'(

went to Tucano's for the first time... it was delicious.

I can't even stay on this page because I'm getting bored of my own life. 

oh, I'm re-doing my room. I should post pictures of some before and afters.

complete transformation. and it's looking good.

I'm so upset that the Olympics changed the gymnastics all-around rules. 

Jordan Wieber should have been competing tonight. jerks.

funemployment is nice, but money is seriously stressing me out.

UVU is big.

UVU parking is a joke.

I'm excited for school.

I'm in love with this guy, and I couldn't be happier :)

life lessons on Sunday

the past few months...

              I've learned that I literally cannot stay away from Target.

I've learned that if you paint a thin layer of glitter nail polish before you paint your color, it stays on 3 times as long. trust me, it works.

I've learned that when you can't stand to face another day at work, it's okay to quit because it's just not for everybody, and your life won't actually end.

I've learned how to ace an interview.

I've learned that Emily, the bachelorette is really stupid and boring.

I've learned that cactuses take a really long time to grow.

I've learned never to go out into the wilderness alone.

I've learned that my stomach has probably doubled in size since I moved home.

I've learned that every time I go to Cafe Zupa's, I will always get the same thing: turkey, bacon, avocado, no tomato, ranch instead of honey mustard, and the wisconsin cauliflower soup.

I've learned that if you don't like it, change it. and if you like it, don't change it.

I've learned that I would really hate working at the mall.

I've learned that saying goodbye to someone never gets less sad, even when you've done it many times before.

I've learned that nursery is the best calling ever.

I've learned that I can't wait to have some little kiddies of my own.

I've learned that I wish I was still a gymnast.

I've learned that my life is so much better when I'm around people that I know. 

I've learned that I will always want to live in Utah. 

I've learned that my life is pretty great.

good things about my life:


1  I live in Orem again. I moved back in with my parents. 
and it's great. I don't know why I ever left. I'm such a homebody.
I love my family. and I love Utah County.


2  I got all A's in school. it makes me feel really good about myself.


3  I have a job, and I actually like it. a whole lot.


4  I can go to the store any time I want. 


5  I can go to Comedy Sportz every weekend if I want.
and I just might.


6  I went to the Miranda show. 

it was amazing.

I wanted to cry, I was so happy.
